Bio-diesel made from food in oil-rich UAEClose

The Middle East is an area where vehicle is king and fuel is cheap, typically leaving little incentive to discover more environmentally-friendly ways of moving around.

But this year, as protests throughout the Middle East have risen the price of oil, the issue of discovering alternative sources of fuel has actually entered sharp focus.

In an area that has among the greatest carbon footprints worldwide, one company is benefiting from the growing pressure to find options to oil.
